TOBA TEK SING: A team from the Faisalabad Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) conducted a raid Thursday night on the residence of former provincial minister Chaudhry Bilal Asghar Waraich in Gojra to apprehend him but he was not present at home.
During the raid, his house was locked as his wife and children resided in Lahore, and Bilal has been abroad for the last several months. Sources said the team was headed by a deputy director and the raid was made in a case on the charge of alleged embezzlement made by him in the funds given to him under the MPA grant by the provincial government.
