ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Jawad Sohrab Malik called upon Palestinian Envoy Ahmed Rabi’i and condemned the Israeli forces’ aggression against innocent civilians in Gaza.

He strongly denounced the deliberate targeting of civilian infrastructure, medical services, educational institutions and refugees camp by Israeli occupation forces.Given the sheer number of people i.e., around 2.2 million and the indefinite longevity, 75 years and counting, Gaza is the mother of all concentration camps, said the SAPM.

He asserted that genocide, ethnic cleansing and crimes against humanitarian laws were being committed by Israel with utter impunity and no fear of repercussions.

Jawad Malik emphasized that the international community, especially Islamic world, must play an active role in ensuring immediate ceasefire and opening of humanitarian corridor for uninterrupted relief supplies to besieged innocent civilians of Gaza. The SAPM expressed solidarity at this critical moment of a second Nakba against Palestinians and assured Pakistan’s unequivocal support for their right to self-determination.
