LAHORE: The Lahore High Court has granted permission to the PTI to conduct a corner meeting in Shahdara on November 19.
Justice Ali Baqar Najafi presided over the hearing of PTI candidate Akmal Khan’s petition from Shahdara on Wednesday. The petitioner argued that they intended to organise a corner meeting in the Shahdara area in connection with the election. However, the administration was not permitting the PTI to hold such a gathering.
The petitioner requested the court to direct the administration to allow the corner meeting. Subsequently, the court granted the PTI permission to hold the corner meeting in NA-117, Shahdara.
