ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Rawalpindi, has summoned Bushra Bibi, wife of former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan, and Farhat Shahzadi (Farah Gogi) on November 13 in £190 million National Crime Agency (NCA) UK case, separately.
According to the call up notice sent to Bushra Imran Khan, she was called by the investigation as an accused on 8-11-2023, however, she requested the change of date. Therefore, she was again summoned on November 13 to appear before the CIT of NAB Rawalpindi along with one male member. While the call-up notice to Farhat Shahzadi (Farah Gogi) stated that during the proceedings of the case, she was called upon to appear being acquainted with facts and circumstances of the case with regard to the case £190 million NCA UK, however she failed to appear before the CIT of the NAB probing £190 million NCA UK. Now she was again summoned on November 13 along with male family member.
Earlier, Bushra Bibi excused herself from appearing before the Combined Investigation Team of the National Accountability Bureau and sought next week date for her appearance before the NAB.
She submitted reply to the NAB through her lawyer Naeem Haider Panjutha, in which she stated that she had received a call up notice on November 3 for her appearance on November 8 before the CIT Investigation Wing of NAB Rawalpindi but due to unavoidable circumstances she was not able to appear on 08-11-2023.
