Chinese envoy, Dar discuss enhancing economic, strategic cooperation

ISLAMABAD: Chinese Charge D’affaires in Islamabad Pang Chunxue Tuesday met the PMLN’s Leader of the House in the Senate Muhammad Ishaq Dar at the Parliament House.

Ms Pang discussed and explored various avenues for enhancing the existing economic cooperation and strategic cooperation in the wake of upcoming general elections.

Chinese ambassador in Pakistan Jiang Zaidong is in Beijing these days for important consultations and in his absence, Ms. Pang, held a meeting with Senator Dar.

The Chinese sources said that Senator Ishaq Dar and Pang Chunxue discussed and explored various avenues, especially available for both countries after the General Elections 2024 in Pakistan in order to enhance the existing economic and strategic cooperation between Pakistan and China.

The charge d’affaires admired the friendly relations between the two countries and cooperation of Senator Dar as the former finance minister of Pakistan. She assured continuous support of her country to the people of Pakistan.
