The US is often seen as a source of global conflicts. Throughout history, numerous wars have been fought, and the superpower has always benefited from these wars. The US fuels the global war machine; American weapons are used to undermine what the US government claims they are fighting for: international peace and security. Weapon sales have always been integral to America’s foreign policy. The US promotes conflicts instead of striving for stability, which is why it is silently witnessing a genocide without any condemnations.
Eyes around the world are still looking at the US for a truce. Voices are rising all over the world to stop unrest in Gaza. Muslim-majority countries should not wait for US sympathy. They should take a collective stand to stop the brutality of Israel. Unfortunately, the Muslim world has been passive since the outset of the Israel-Gaza war. More silence from Muslim countries will lead to more casualties of innocent lives in Gaza.
