Saudi Arabia extends scholarship offer to Pakistani students
Islamabad:The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has made a significant announcement, offering 700 fully funded scholarships to Pakistani students, enabling them to pursue their higher education dreams in Saudi Arabia's top 25 universities. This expansion comes as an enhancement of an already generous scholarship program previously comprising 600 scholarships, now increased to 700.
The Royal Embassy of Riyadh issued an official notification detailing the scholarship opportunities available to Pakistani students. These scholarships are available for a diverse range of academic levels, including Diploma, Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD programs.
One notable aspect of this scholarship program is that it caters to both Pakistani students residing in Pakistan and those legally residing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Aspiring students can apply for these scholarships through the dedicated online portal of the universities participating in the program: [Study in Saudi Arabia](https://studyinsaudi.moe.gov.sa).
The scholarship distribution is set to benefit Pakistani students on both sides. Approximately 75 percent of the scholarships will be awarded to students based in Pakistan, while the remaining 25 percent will go to Pakistani students residing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
To ensure that this golden opportunity reaches its intended audience, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has urged school principals and educational heads to disseminate scholarship details and information among senior students, specifically those in XI-XII and O-A Level, and make this information readily accessible by posting it on school notice boards and gates.
For those interested in learning more about these scholarships, the eligibility criteria, and application procedures, you can visit the official scholarship portal at [https://studyinsaudi.moe.gov.sa](https://studyinsaudi.moe.gov.sa).
Saudi Arabia's commitment to education and the significant increase in the number of scholarships is a testament to the strong and friendly ties between Pakistan and the Kingdom. It offers a unique opportunity for Pakistani students to access world-class education in Saudi Arabia and strengthen the educational and cultural bonds between the two nations.
