Rangers carried out a successful operation targeting dacoits and criminals in the remote regions of interior Sindh on Monday. According to a Rangers spokesperson, five individuals involved in crimes such as robbery, kidnapping for ransom, murder, facilitation, and various other offenses were apprehended from the Goth Mir Kosh area of Ubauro in Ghotki district.
The arrested suspects were identified as Hassan Kosh, Haji Imtiaz Ali, Nawab Ali alias Nawabi, Umair, and Falak Sher. In addition to the arrests, a significant cache of weapons, ammunition, bulletproof jackets, and night vision scopes were seized from the possession of the apprehended individuals. Notably, more than nine first information reports had been filed against these suspects across various police stations.
The spokesperson further informed that the arrested culprits, along with the recovered weapons and stolen items, were handed over to the police for further legal action. The public was strongly encouraged to cooperate with the Sindh Rangers by identifying hideouts of dacoits and individuals who provide them shelter. Immediate reporting of such information was vital to assist the Sindh Rangers in ridding the province of criminal elements.
For those seeking assistance from the Rangers, the helpline 1101 or the Rangers' facilitation WhatsApp number at 03479001111 can be contacted via call or SMS. The spokesperson assured that the identity of informants would be kept confidential.
