PPP leader welcomes election date announcement
DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) central Information Secretary Faisal Karim Kundi said on Saturday that though his party was not getting a level-playing field, they welcome the date for the election.
Talking to reporters, he said that the PPP would actively participate in the upcoming general election.
He said his party would start holding political activities and would reach out to the voters. Kundi said that the PPP would emerge victorious in the next election.
He said that the PPP believed in serving the people and would steer the country out of the prevailing difficult situation. He said the political forces should unite and work for the supremacy of the Parliament and the Constitution. He said that all the political forces should be allowed to take part in the election and a conducive environment should be ensured for the conduct of the free and fair election.
Kundi said that the nation would not accept the outcome of the polls if the election was not held in a transparent manner.
