PIC holds awareness workshop

LAHORE : Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) organised an awareness workshop on PIC emergency clinics in various government hospitals of province where Caretaker Punjab Health Minister Prof Dr Javed Akram was chief guest.

On this occasion, Executive Director Prof Dr Anjum Jalal, MS Dr M Tahsin Ahmed and Director PIC Emergency clinics Dr Syed Mohsin Ali Shah and a large number of doctors, nurses and paramedics were also present. Doctors, nurses, pharmacists and paramedics from Shahdara Teaching Hospital, Said Mitha Hospital, Yakki Gate Hospital, Kot Khawaja Saeed Hospital and Mian Munshi DHQ Teaching Hospital were also present in the awareness workshop.

Addressing the workshop, Dr Javed Akram congratulated the administration of Punjab Institute of Cardiology for organising the very important referral workshop. The opening of PIC emergency clinics in various government hospitals of Punjab is very welcome. Credit goes to the caretaker government of Punjab for providing cardiology facilities to the people at their doorsteps.
