LAHORE : Livestock Minister Ibrahim Hasan Murad Saturday visited Civil Veterinary Hospital Kacha Khuh, Department of Livestock Dairy Development, Khanewal and checked the movement of staff member and outdoor register.
The minister inspected the cold chain system for vaccine storage and checked the temperature of the refrigerator. He also checked the stock of medicine in the centre and talked to the officials. Briefing the minister, Director General South Punjab Mahmood Ijaz said the centre is providing animal treatment facilities, in which worms and other diseases are treated with vaccination while farmers are also informed about animal awareness campaign. The minister said he will continue the series of such visits to improve the performance of the livestock department.
