HAFIZABAD: Istehkam Pakistan Party (IPP) founder Jahangir Tareen has said the country needs a super system not a superstar.
Addressing a public meeting, Tareen said the country and people are important, not personalities. He said he would make the promises he could fulfill. “The minimum salary in our government will be Rs50,000. We will spend money on people so that their lives become easier. There will be no fear of going to bed hungry and education up to high school will be free,” he added. He said, “The army is our protector and we have to strengthen it with our faith and trust. It is the guarantor of national security.” IPP President Aleem Khan said, “If you want to see a new Pakistan, then go to the houses of Farah Gogi and Usman Buzdar. Change has not happened in any era till date and corruption was rife during the PTI government’s tenure. A most unworthy person was imposed on us in the name of Shaukat Khanum Hospital.”
