ISLAMABAD: The officers and staff members serving in the National Assembly Secretariat in various cadres have been promoted to the next grade.
Among those promoted are Additional Secretary Syed Shamoon Ashraf Hashmi and Additional Secretary Muhammad Afzal. They have been promoted as Special Secretaries to Grade 22. Syed Shamoon Hashmi is son of late senior journalist Ashraf Hashmi, also a recipient of Pride of Performance, for his services for Urdu language, national culture and heritage.
Joint Secretary Syed Hasan Murtaza Bukhari, Khaliq Ahmed Obha, Syed Jawad Naqvi, Aurangzeb Mudal and Iftikhar Khan Laghmani have been promoted as Additional Secretaries from Grade 20 to Grade 21. Additionally, Assistant Director of Photography, Grade 17, Zahid Sultan Khan has been promoted as Deputy Director of Photography in Grade 18.
