Ministers in Nawaz’s cabinet have failed to decipher the hazy but bullying statements of our fire-brand political leader of the PTI. Last time ‘the umpire’ he repeatedly referred to was the public at large (as he shared later) and not the one the government was so scared of.
This time by ‘Raiwind’ he never meant the abodes of the Sharif family. Rather, he wants to take his disciples to the well-known ‘Tablighee Markaz’ at Raiwind to honour his long outstanding commitment to a senior scholar of the markaz. Let us hope the Sharifs will respond as generous hosts as per our culture of hospitality. Our honourable ministers should therefore feel comfortable.
