Couple among three killed in accidents

HAFIZABAD: Three people, including a couple, were killed in two road accidents here on Tuesday.
In the first incident, Khushi Muhammad of Vanike Tarrar and his wife Hameeda Bibi were coming to the city when a car hit their motorcycle near Channi Hanjranwan. As a result, the couple sustained serious injuries. They were rushed to the DHQ Hospital from where they were referred to a Lahore hospital due to their critical condition. They died when they were being shifted to Lahore. Police are investigating.
In the second incident, Samiullah Khan and his friend Ahmad Sajjad of Kot Sarwar were coming to the city when a speeding van hit their motorcycle. As a result, Samiullah was killed on the spot while Ahmad Sajjad sustained serious injuries. The injured man was shifted to the DHQ Hospital. Police are investigating.
