Tariq Masood appointed as IGP Islamabad

Islamabad: The government has announced appointment of Tariq Masood Yasin as inspector general of police (IGP) of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), the Establishment Division sources said on Tuesday.
Tariq Masood Yasin was serving as regional police officer (RPO), Multan, before his appointment as IGP Islamabad.
He has served on vital assignments, including AIG Establishment and DIG Security Division, Islamabad, and earned a good reputation during his service.
The Establishment Division has issued a notification, saying "Mr. Tariq Masood Yasin (PSP/BS-20) RPO Multan has been transferred and posted as IGP, ICT Police, in his own pay and scale".
