KHAR: Three people were shot dead in separate incidents here on Tuesday. Unidentified gunmen shot dead a schoolteacher in one incident. The local sources said the teacher, Shakir Khan, a resident of Tangi Salarzai, was targeted and killed in the Khar Pull area of the Khar Tehsil.
Police reached the spot and collected pieces of evidence from the site. A case was registered and investigation launched into the incident. In another incident, a man and his son were killed in a clash over the tree felling.
It was learnt that the deceased had a dispute over the ownership of a piece of land with rivals in the Sara Meena Alizai area of the Khar town.
There was a scuffle after one of the parties reportedly started felling trees sited on the disputed land. The situation turned violent, leading to the double-murder from one side. Those killed were identified as Gul Hazrat, 55, and his son, Sultan Akbar, 30.
