PESHAWAR: The bail before arrest of two local men accused of attacking a female lawyer was revoked, and they were subsequently arrested here on Monday.
The additional sessions judge for Peshawar recalled the pre-arrest bail that had been granted to Shaukat and another person, who were facing charges of assaulting female lawyer Alishba Khan in Saddar while she was en route to the courts.
Advocate Nouman Muhib Kakakhel represented the female lawyer and argued that the offense was not just against an individual but was a transgression against society and the legal community.The accused individuals had their pre-arrest bail revoked and were taken into custody within the court premises.
