PTI, PDM govts did nothing for public welfare: Aleem
LAHORE: Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) President Abdul Aleem Khan has said that in the last five years, PTI and PDM both governments have done nothing for the welfare of the common people and could not strengthen the country’s economy.
He added that today the general public is dismayed with both previous rulers and fed up with the traditional politics. Abdul Aleem indicated that in the current scenario of disturbed political and economic situation IPP is the only choice of the voters.
Aleem Khan expressed these views while presiding over a party’s senior leaders meeting here Monday held in the Central Secretariat of the Party. Current political situation and organisational issues of IPP were discussed in details. A 5-member disciplinary committee comprising Chaudhry Noreez Shakur, Rana Nazir Ahmad, Chaudhry Zaheer ud Din, Sardar Talib Nakai and Rana Muhammad Aslam was constituted. Aleem Khan said that there was no ambiguity regarding the elections so the party leaders should launch mass contact campaign in their respective constituencies.
