The PML-N has evidently spent a large sum of money to host a grand welcome on the arrival of Nawaz Sharif, who returned from the UK after four years. The current economic crunch in Pakistan cannot afford such lavish spending, which, if invested in deserving cases, can bring prosperity in the lives of those struggling for two meals a day.
The aspirations of Nawaz Sharif apparently seem people- and country-friendly, but uninterrupted work needs to be done to ensure that his goals are benefitting the downtrodden and the whole of Pakistan.
