Nisar’s stance

The bold statement of Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan regarding audit of the assets of parliamentarians not only needs to be applauded but implemented as well.

The minister is bound to face the wrath of his fellow parliamentarians for the stance he has taken on transparency and accountability in the affairs of governance. This is because the government is not even prepared to introduce the Right to Information bill at the federal level.
