PESHAWAR: Pakistan’s premier wrestler and world beach wrestling top grappler Mohammad Inam missed the Beach Wrestling World Series which held in Sarigerme, Turkey, from October 14-15 due to visa issue.
According to informed sources, the former beach wrestling champion could not get the visa in time which denied him the chance to feature in the world series, an event which was very important for him.
Sources said Pakistan Wrestling Federation also wrote to Turkey Wrestling Federation and it said that it would have to manage a letter from the Ministry of Sports in Turkey which would be sent to it’s embassy in Pakistan but the letter was not timely written and so the event was missed.
Inam recently also missed the Asian Games in Hangzhou. As he will also be featuring in the World Beach Games in future he has opted to feature in a number of beach wrestling world series.
