‘Romcom to promote soft image of Pakistan’

After successfully distributing movies all over Pakistan an entertainment firm has announced its first in-house production ‘Teri Meri Love Story’ - a romantic comedy revolving around a love triangle between Esha, Ramis & Nael.

The movie script is written by Ahmed Abdul Rehman and will be directed by acclaimed actor and director Jawad Bashir.

A special meet and greet session was held on Friday to unveil the star cast and crew of the movie. During media briefing, spokesperson for the entertainment firm Waryyam Iqbal also highlighted that the firm was committed to promote a soft image of Pakistan by bringing such movie ventures and providing various opportunities to promote young talent.  

Starring the stalwarts of Pakistan’s entertainment industry Mohib Mirza, along with stunning Ushna Shah and leading model Omer Shahzad, the movie is set against the breathtaking backdrop of Naran Valley & lake Saif-ul-Muluq. We join Esha (Ushna Shah), a beautiful, stylish TV host on an adventurous shooting assignment accompanied by her shooting crew/best friends, the goofy and mischievous Sherry (Mohsin Abbas) & Danish (Ahmad Abdul Rehman). Esha wants to marry her true love Ramis (Omer Shahzad) but her father is adamant that she marries her childhood family friend Nael (Mohib Mirza). ‘Teri Meri Love Story’ follows the trio’s adventurous and hilarious journey to finding true love. 

With a star-studded cast, including the likes of Uzma Khan, Salman Shahid, Laila Zubairi and music by prominent singers like Shoaib, Talha and Qaiser ‘Teri Meri Love Story’ is sure to set Pakistan film industry on a new course. Filming is expected to start soon.
