BANNU: The police on Thursday arrested an alleged arms trafficker and recovered a huge cache of arms from him, an official said.Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Inayat Ali Shah told reporters that the police received information that arms traffickers were planning to smuggle a huge cache of arms to Bannu.The police, he said, put the security on high alert and established various checkpoints on the entry and exit points. They said that the cops of the Saddar Police Station recovered 59 Kalashnikovs, 164 pistols, two repeaters and 48,000 cartridges from a truck and arrested an arms trafficker.
