Indian currency, weapons seized

OKARA: The Sutlej Rangers recovered illegal weapons and Indian currency from a villager’s house situated in the border area of Kanganpur.
Inspector Kamran Riaz of Sutlej Rangers and his staff raided the house of Muhammad Nawaz, s/o Faiz Muhammad Joiya, and allegedly recovered Indian currency, a pump action and a repeater gun. However, accused Nawaz fled. Mandi Ahmadabad police have registered a case.

Accused Sardar Ali allegedly received Rs 79,000 fraudulently from Zohra Bibi of Godha Khichi village and disappeared.
BOOTLEGGER HELD: Ravi police on Wednesday arrested a bootlegger and allegedly recovered 30 liters brewed wine from him.
The police arrested Sakhawat Ali s/o Mushtaq Ahmad of Faisal Park and recovered 30 litres wine from him. The police have registered a case.
