The rupee appreciated against the dollar for the second consecutive day on Tuesday, owing to external inflows. The rupee ended at 104.68 to the dollar from the previous day’s closing of 104.71 in the interbank foreign exchange market.
The interbank foreign exchange market initiated the day in the range of 104.70 and 104.73. In the open market, buying and selling of the dollar was recorded at 105.35/105.55.
