Five of a family die in accident

BAHAWALPUR: Five members of a family, including two women and a 10-year-old boy, were killed in an accident near Dhabban bus stop on Bahawalnagar-Haroonabad Road on Monday night.
A tractor-trolley loaded with wheat husk hit a motorcycle-rickshaw, killing Haji Manzoor, Rizwan Ahmad, 10, Khursheeda Bibi and Sakina Bibi on the spot while Mumtaz Ahmad, Muhammad Bakhsh and Riaz Ahmad were injured. The injured were shifted to the Bahawalnagar DHQ Hospital where Mumtaz also died.
According to Bahawalnagar Sadr police, the family was coming from Hujra Shah Muqeem to attend Chehlum of their relative.
