Albayrak Solid Waste Management Company arranged a door-to-door awareness campaign in Chak Jalal Din, UC-87, on Saturday.
Representatives of Albayrak urged the residents of Chak Jalal Din to use waste bags and Albayrak containers for home waste disposal.
Chairman UC-87 was specially invited for the campaign. Raja Liaquat Hussain, Senior Manager Operations Albayrak, and Albayrak team members distributed free waste bags and brochures among the residents to create awareness. People were informed about the procedure for registering a complaint at Albayrak Registration Cell.
Albayrak representatives told the people if they found unsatisfactory cleanliness and open plots in their areas they can cooperate with the company by informing the company about the cleanliness requirement.
Later on, toll free number 1139 was given to public to register their complaints regarding cleanliness.
