Khursheed urges better education for youth, visits exam centre in Sukkur
SUKKUR: Leader of the opposition in National Assembly Khursheed Shah Friday paid a visit to an examination centre at the Public School Sukkur where annual examinations of SSC Part I and II were in progress.
He said on the occasion that knowledge and merit were vital for character and personality building. He advised the students to refrain themselves from unfair means and firmly believe in merit.
He expressed his satisfaction over the arrangements for the peaceful conduct of examinations.Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Sukkur Chairman Professor Syed Ghulam Mujtaba Shah, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dr Waheed Asghar Bhatti and other officials also accompanied the leader of the opposition.
Meanwhile, addressing orphans residing at Pakistan Sweet Home, he said the youth and children are the future of the country and it is crucial to provide better health and education facilities to children as well as young generation.
Khursheed said the youth have a lot of potential and they are capable to meet any challenge. However, what they needed is confidence and proper guidance. He pointed out that provision of education facility and moral building of the youth is necessary to make them best human beings and good citizens and to eliminate extremism and terrorism from the country.On the occasion, he distributed gifts, hampers and clothes among the orphans.
