Pakistan is facing a disturbing surge in child sexual abuse cases, with a report revealing that there were 1390 child abuse cases reported in the province from January to June 15, 2023. However, many cases go unreported due to fear and stigma. The problem of child sexual abuse in Pakistan requires a multifaceted and comprehensive approach to address effectively.
Only through a united and unwavering commitment from all levels of society and the government can we hope to create an environment where children are safe, protected, and free from the horrors of child sexual abuse.
