4 held for abetting POs

CHAKWAL: Police booked and arrested four people who helped two proclaimed offenders (POs) to escape arrest.
SHO Sadr Zarat Bolouch on a tip-off raided the house of PO Zaffar Iqbal in Sarkalan village in the area of Kallar Kahar police station but he escaped when he was alerted by his father Muhammad Iqbal and brother Osama before the police arrived.
The police arrested Iqbal and Osama and handed them to Kallar Kahar police.
Police also raided the house of PO Faisal Iqbal of the same area but his father Gull Muhammad and brother Zubair helped the PO to escape.
Police arrested Gull and Zubair and also handed them to Kallar Kahar police. ASI Mohammad Shafique registered separate cases against them.
