Ill-designed roundabout creating problems for motorists
From Our Correspondent
KASUR: Ill-designed and gigantic roundabout at Ferozepur Bypass is creating problems for motorists and causing accidents.
A roundabout of unusual radius was built at Ferozepur Bypass some months ago. The bypass links Ferozpur Road, Raiwind Road and Depalpur Road. According to some motorists, including Jawad Ahmad, Khalid Mehmood and Muhammad Awais, the roundabout is so large in radius that the drivers seldom find a road across the roundabout and the vehicles hit against its wall.
Ghulam Ahmad Ansari advocate, a social worker, said that the roundabouts at Kashmir Chowk and Steel Bagh Morr were also large in size and had to be cut short to avoid accidents. The people have demanded the chief minister order the authorities concerned to review its design in the larger interest of the road users.
