JHANG: Three gypsy children were burnt alive when their cottage caught fire near Trimun Headworks here.
Muhammad Ibrahim and his family were living in a cottage along a safety wall of River Jhelum. On Monday, his cottage suddenly caught fire. As a result, his sons Idrees Ali (16), Waseem Akram (8) and daughter Asia (5) burnt alive while Ibrahim also sustained burns. Later, Rescue 1122 team rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire.

JHANG: After the Lahore tragedy, the district government has called off the Jashn-e-Baharan 2016in the district.
In this connection, DCO Nadir Chattha issued a notification in this regard on Monday. Meanwhile, the Jhang Chamber of Commerce and Industries also postponed the opening ceremony of the JCCI annual industrial exhibition, which was scheduled to be held at the District Sports Complex on Monday.
