KARACHI: Five people were injured in firing incidents in different areas of the city on Sunday.A 40-year-old man, Asif, son of Ashraf, was injured when a stray bullet hit him in New Karachi Sector 5-D within the limits of the Bilal Colony police station. He was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. In another firing incident, a 28-year-old man, Ahmed Shah, son of Tanveer Shah, was injured in the Mujahid Colony area of ??Nazimabad.
He was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. Police said the man was shot over a personal enmity. Separately, Muhammad Arsalan, 28, who served as a guard of a private security company for a private hospital in the Dhoraji area of ??New Town, was injured after his rifle accidentally went off.
