The road linking Jhang with Faisalabad is worn out. At some point in the past, it was decided that the road would be converted into a dual carriageway but nothing has been heard since. It seems that the government has different priorities for different regions: some cities and roads are being given special attention while others are completely forgotten.
It is the duty of the government to treat every Pakistani as an equal citizen of the state and provide him or her civic rights and facilities. Moreover, the distribution of resources should be seen as equitable. This is what the constitution says. The authorities concerned are requested to convert the road into dual carriageway as soon as possible.
