Cricket coverage

It is unfortunate that the print media has treated even the second consecutive win by our women’s cricket team in the World T20 with contempt. Instead of flashing the news on main pages, it was pushed on the inside pages.

On the other hand, our men’s cricket team, which has been very ‘consistent’ in playing poor cricket, had been given almost full sports pages. We should give credit to our women’s cricket team and encourage them to keep up with their excellent performance in the tournament.
