Safe nukes
India is trying its level best to promote a perception in the international community that thousands might get killed if Pakistan ever used tactical nuclear weapons. If we analyse past nuclear accidents we realise that India has the most unsafe nuclear weapons programme among all nuclear states of the world. Some recent reports about the safety of nuclear sites have ranked India 23rd out of 24 states. Pakistan’s position is way better than India, North Korea and Iran.
Although we are not a signatory to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, yet we do not believe in nuclear proliferation. We have a strong command and control system which makes our nuclear arsenal safe and secure. We may not be politically stable, but, we have never compromised on the safety and security of our nuclear sites.
