Holi celebrated

The Hindu community celebrated festival of Holi with religious zeal across the country on Wednesday.
In this regard, the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) organised the central ceremony in the provincial metropolis which was held at the Krishna Mandir, Ravi Road Lahore. According to a press release, a large number of people, including women, men and children of Hindu community attended the festival. The participants offered special prayers for the prosperity and development of Pakistan on the occasion. The ETPB on the directions of its Chairman Siddiq-ul-Farooq had taken strict security measures for the celebrations. Siddiq-ul-Farooq, Pakistan Hindu Welfare Council Chairman Dr Manohar Chan and Pakistan Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Pardhan Sardar Sham Singh wished greetings to the Hindu community.
