JHANG: Sindh Assembly Deputy Speaker Syeda Shehla Raza has said that former president Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf has left the country after an alleged deal with the PML-N government.
Talking to newsmen after attending Jashn-e-Nauroze at the dera of PPP leader Pir Syed Agha Tariq Gillani at Satellite Town, she said that it was quite possible that Musharraf would not return to fulfill the alleged deal with the PML-N leadership.
Shehla Raza said it seemed that the PML-N leaders had developed differences over the departure of Musharraf. To a question, she said that the Punjab government should review the recent women protection law because there were many flaws in it. She further said that the laws should be in the interest of the community and society but the women protection law was creating differences among the families. PPP provincial chief Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo and others were also present.
