KARACHI: The second edition of Modern Club Founder Members National Ranking tennis championship will be played from April 7-13 here at Modern Club.
Top national players Aqeel Khan, Abid Mushtaq, Yasir Khan, Muzamil Murtaza, Hania Naveed, Ibrahim Iltifat and Raza Sawani have confirmed their participation in the tournament.
The week-long championship has been approved as a national ranking event of Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) and has been given ‘A’ status.
The tournament offers a prize purse of Rs500,000. The events to be contested in the tournament are men’s singles, ladies singles, juniors u-18 singles, boys 14 singles, boys and girls u-10 singles, seniors 35 singles, men’s doubles, seniors 45 doubles and seniors 55 doubles. The last date of entry is April 5.
All out-station provincial or district players should send their entries through their respective associations to Khalid Rehmani, secretary PTF, or at Modern Club through email.
