In order to improve the standard of service to patients at Lahore General Hospital, Principal Prof Khalid Mahmood has shuffled the responsibilities of six AMSs and two DMSs and they have been given new departments to administrate.
According to a press release issued here on Tuesday, Dr Niaz Ahmed, Medical Superintendent LGH, with the approval of the Principal, has posted Dr Arif Shahzad Bhatti as AMS Repair and Implementation of CM Directives, Dr Shafiq Ahmed Rana as Director Emergency Ward, Dr Rashid Hussain Sherazi as AMS Security, Dr Zaheer Iqbal as AMS evening shift and Dr Munawar Ali as AMS Works. Dr Shahid Mayo will hold the additional charge as Principal Allied Health School while Dr Amir Khan Aalim would serve as DMS Administration and Dr Irfan Aziz as DMS Outdoor morning shift.
Principal Dr. Khalid Mahmood has directed all the administrative doctors to take charge of their new posts immediately and do not sit in their offices rather be practical to solve the problems of their staff and patients. He said that doctors and paramedics should understand the sensitivity of their duties and work as per expectations of the patients and their attendants.
