For example, in 2020, the government blocked access to the social media platform TikTok for a short period of time due to concerns about the spread of ‘immoral content’. Overall, while internet connectivity has been improving in Pakistan in recent years, there are still issues that need to be addressed to ensure reliable and affordable internet access for all users.
