Kiln owners warn of restarting demos

FAISALABAD: The kiln owners on Monday decided to restart demonstrations if the government did not decrease raw bricks preparation wages of the labourers.
Addressing a meeting at Chak 257/JB, Kiln Owners Association chairman Abdul Razzaq Bajwa said that they had already staged a demonstration against the issuance of a notification for enhancement of raw bricks preparation wages without taking them into confidence.
Reports indicate that they tried to breach one of gates, harassed staff, and even scaled walls of premises
