Musharraf decieved courts, govt, people by posing himself as sick: Sirajul Haq
NAWABSHAH: Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Ameer Senator Sirajul Haq said on Sunday that Pervez Musharraf deceived court, government and people of Pakistan by posing himself as sick.
He was addressing the “Namoos-e-Risalat PBUH Conference” in Nawabshah. The JI chief said that at present more than 150 cases of mega scandals were lying pending with the courts but NAB is incompetent to nab powerful criminals. He demanded that whosoever involved in corruption be tried under the Anti Terrorist Act. He said that the country could not progress until corruption is eliminated. He said that Mian Nawaz did not learn any lesson from the history. He said the state is not a name of four provinces but the Shariah. He said that government introduced a new trend by permitting Pervez Musharraf to travel abroad.
Sirajul Haq said that last year while in Madina Manwara he emphasized Mian Nawaz Shahrif to bring an end to interest based system and obscenity, but instead he banned the entry of Tableegi Jamaat in educational institutions of Punjab introducing a liberal Pakistan and Punjab. He said that Nawaz damaged his eternity by hanging Mumtaz Qadri. He said that our rulers visit Macca and Madina but take instructions from Washington. He said that rulers imposed the Women Bill only to please America whereas Islam gives more rights to women as they have heirship in property.
He said that wife and husband in the West have no faith in each other and daughter is not safe from father. He said that our courts are running on English laws, economy is interest based and education system is co-education, which is totally against the norms of Islam. He said that government could not arrest culprits involved in Baldia factory incident, killer Raymond Davis was left unabated, criminals who burnt advocates are still at large but Mumtaz Qadri was hanged.
The Namoos-e-Risalat Conference was also addressed by Naib Ameer Jamaat Islami Pakistan Asadullah Bhutto Advocate, Ameer Jamaat Islami Sindh Dr Merajul Huda Siddiqui and Mumtaz Hussain Sahito Advocate.
