Aisam-Nick reach Irving Tennis Classic final

KARACHI: Pakistan’s tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and his partner Nick Monroe reached the final of Irving Tennis Classic in USA on Sunday.
The top seed duo of Aisam-Nick overpowered third seed pair of C Fleming and N Skupski 3-6, 7-5, 10-8 in the semi-finals of this ATP Challenger Tour’s event.
“(I am) really happy to be into Irving Tennis Classic Finals after such an intense match yesterday. Big shout out to my partner Nick to whom I’m very thankful for pushing me through the finishing line,” posted Aisam on his social media page.
The pair was scheduled to face second seed duo of G Guccione and Andre Bra Sa in final on Sunday.
Aisam-Nick had earlier defeated the unseeded pair of M Cecchinato and I Cervantes 6-3, 6-4 in the quarter-finals.
