Four Hindus kidnapped in Kacha area
RAHIM YAR KHAN: Four persons of the Hindu community were kidnapped Saturday despite an alert due to the ongoing Kacha operation.
Unknown persons kidnapped four members of a family including a father and son belonging to the Hindu community with the help of facilitators for ransom.
The video of people being abducted has gone viral on social media while the police detained women, innocent children, and livestock worth lakhs of rupees amid threats from the kidnappers through social media.
Nirmalji of the Hindu community and resident of Mouza Kachha Mianwali of Rojhan Tehsil of Rajanpur District said that taking advantage of the darkness, unknown armed persons from Kutch entered the house and kidnapped Samar, Mehru, Gomand, Babuji, Karmoji, Ridhaji for ransom and fled. Later, the alleged kidnappers made a video call on social media and demanded ransom.
Police filed a case against unknown kidnappers in Crime No. 27/23 of 365A and started a probe.
