Our public education infrastructure is weak and limited, resulting in over 20 million out-of-school children. Those government schools that do exist often lack basic facilities and their staff tend to be untrained and habitually absent. We need to shift to a model of mobile schools, along the lines of mobile clinics, to provide inexpensive education to the lower-income groups on a mass scale.
