ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said the government believed in serving the people and all the development projects initiated by his government were aimed at improving their standard of life.
Cost-effective and time saving mega and small projects were implemented across the country to reshape Pakistan and empower its people to realise their true potentials, the prime minister added.
He was talking to National Assembly Deputy Speaker Murtaza Javed Abbasi, MNAs Ch Khadim Hussain, Riazul Haq Jujj and Mumtaz Ahmed Tarar, who separately called on him Wednesday at the Prime Minister House, said a press release.
The premier assured the parliamentarians that the government would start more projects for the uplift of the common man in addition to those which were already being completed. The federal government’s resources would be equitably utilised for the betterment and welfare of the people, he added. The parliamentarians apprised the PM of progress on the uplift projects in their respective constituencies.
