Hamza, Nalain, Sami, Said enter Jr tennis tourney semis
KARACHI: Hamza Bin Rehan, Nalain Abbas, Sami Zeb Khan and Muhammad Said cruised into the semi-finals of the second leg of ATF Pakistan 14 & Under Super Series tennis championships 2016 at S Dilawar Abbas PTF Tennis Complex in Islamabad on Tuesday.
Nalain Abbas pulled off an impressive upset, beating third seed Yanishkhe Cooray of Sri Lanka without conceding a single game to record a 6-0, 6-0 victory.
Top seed Hamza Bin Rehan thrashed Samad Areejo 6-0, 6-2.
Fourth seed Sami Zeb defeated Sameer Ahmed 6-2, 6-3. Second seed Muhammad Said eliminated Rayan Jawad, registering a 6-4, 6-1 victory.
In girls’ singles event, Zoha Asim and Rida Khan made it to the summit clash after registering identical 6-0, 6-0 triumphs against Yasha Attiq Khan and Sheiza Zafar, respectively.
