DCO calls for interaction between govt depts.

OKARA: District Coordination Officer (DCO) Sucrat Aman Rana Monday stressed the need of interaction between all government departments to resolve problems of the masses.
Addressing a ceremony held with the collaboration of NH&MP and TEVTA to deliver driving training certificates, the DCO said English and Arabic languages taught during the training would be helpful for candidates to get jobs abroad.
TEVTA District Manger Muhammad Azam said all trainees had completed training for light transport vehicle (LTV) to get driving licencs.
MPAs Mian Muhammad Munir, Mian Khurram Jahangir Wattoo and SP (investigation) Amir Saud Magsi also spoke.
Earlier, the NH&MP sector commander SSP Masroor Alam Kalachi said that 42 per cent of roadside accident victims were motorbike and bicycle riders in the country.He said some 5,000 people in the district would be imparted driving training to achieve the target, saying that so far the NH&MP and TEVTA had trained 2,700 people in the district. Thirty people were given the training certificates.
